FINAL Resolution Released – Notification of Mandatory Safety Bulletin of Panasonic Toughbook CF-C2 (New Course Added)

Konica Minolta is notifying customers of an update of the Mandatory Safety Bulletin (00210300) originally released by Panasonic on March 28^th, 2018.

The updated Mandatory Safety Bulletin (00210301) was released by Panasonic on June 12, 2018.  The Mandatory Safety Bulletin provides the final resolution for the quality condition affecting the Panasonic Toughbook CF-C2 Battery packs by installing the Battery Diagnosis Control Software.  This is reflected in Konica Minolta Healthcare Corrective Action CA020-0124(Rev.2) for CS-7 and CA014-0089(Rev.2) for ImagePilot.

Although we are only aware of a very limited number of related incidents in the United States, in all abundance of caution it is mandatory that you utilize the Battery Diagnosis Control Software for the CF-C2/CF-SX laptops to minimize the risk of an incident.  This is the only option to immediately minimize risk.

This training course will provide instructions for performing the above final resolution recommendation and Corrective Actions.
