ASPIRE™ BMA Aspiration and PureBMC® Didactic Program

Learning Objectives:
• To enhance the knowledge of regenerative medicine using a detailed course agenda
• To provide the latest technology in advanced autologous biologics, to include PureBMC® bone marrow cell concentrates
• To practice ultrasound guided bone marrow aspiration on a cadaver specimen from the PSIS
• To practice bone marrow and novel PRP concentration with centrifuge technology

Proficiency Objectives:

• Safely perform the ASPIRE™ bone marrow aspirate procedure and the PureBMC® preparation procedure
• Understanding the detrimental effects of erythrocytes in BMC and the consequences of plasma free hemoglobin, free iron, and ferric-Hb on patient tissues and learning how to minimize these.
• Understanding the potential of viable cellular yields and platelets in bone marrow niche
• Understanding the advantages of using guided ultrasound for BMA and BMC/PRP injections procedures
• Understanding key features of the SONIMAGE® HS1 ultrasound system for use in orthobiology.
• Understanding the difference in protocols and biological activtives of BMC components and the gap in standardization
• Understanding evidence-based outcomes in bone marrow therapeutics
