Introduction to Ultrasound Examination of the Shoulder

Konica Minolta Healthcare is proud to announce an introduction to shoulder ultrasound workshop. This workshop will include basic terminology, ultrasound image review, the use of ultrasound for diagnosis and treatment, as well as an overview of the 13-point shoulder evaluation.

randSpeaker: Jason Rand, PA, MS

Jason Rand is the PA who works with Dr. Brian McKeon, specializing in sports medicine. He attended Cornell University where he completed multiple elective orthopaedic rotations. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Jason graduated with a Master’s Degree from Northeastern University in physical therapy, and worked as a licensed physical therapist rehabbing patients with sports related injuries. Prior to joining BSSC, he worked as a PA for the sports medicine service at the New England Baptist Hospital. Jason has extensive experience with steroid and viscosupplementation injections, such as Euflexxa and Synvisc, having injected over 10,000 joints. He lectures around the country on injection techniques and participates in numerous ongoing clinical trials.

Workshop Overview:
