Principles of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Diagnostics and Injections
Lecturer:
Todd P. Stitik, MD, RMSK and President – New Jersey Society of PM&R
Todd Stitik is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
His primary clinical interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, osteoarthritis and image-guided injection procedures.
Workshop Overview:
The workshop will consist of lecture video material from actual injections within the musculoskeletal system.
- Videotaped examples of actual injection procedures
- Hands-on small group training with live models
Objectives:
- Lean how to properly optimize ultrasound images
- Identify imaging artifacts as well as interpretation
- Be able to understand and optimize Doppler settings
- Learn the basics of ultrasound needle guidance techniques
